মুজিববর্ষের অঙ্গীকার, পুলিশ হবে জনতার” এই প্রতিপাদ্য নিয়ে পাঁচ দিনব্যাপী পুলিশ সপ্তাহ-২০২০ শুরু হয়েছে।
আজ রবিবার (৫ জানুয়ারি) সকালে সি এম পি হালিশহর থানা পুলিশ কেক কাটার মাধ্যমে পাঁচ দিনব্যাপী পুলিশ সপ্তাহ কে বরন করে নেন হালিশহর থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ এস এম ওবায়দুল হক এবং তদন্ত ওসি সঞ্জয় সিনহা। এসময় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন হালিশহর জোন এর সার্কেল এস পি স্রীমা চাকমা
প্রবীন আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা আবেদ মনসুর,আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা আশফাকুল আলম, ২৬ নংওয়ার্ল্ড কমিশনার পদপ্রাথী লায়ন

প্রভাবশালী নেতা মোঃফারুক সহ আরো অনেকে,
এসময় স্রীমা চাকমা বলেন “জনগণের আস্থা ও বিশ্বাস অর্জনের মাধ্যমে যেকোন অপরাধ খুব সহজেই নির্মূল করা সম্ভব হবে”
অফিসার ইনচার্জ ওবায়দুল হক থানা অফিসার দের উদ্দেশ্য বলেন, “আমাদের পুলিশকে জনগণের পুলিশ হিসেবে নিজেদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে হবে। মানুষের বিশ্বাস ও আস্থা অর্জনের মাধ্যমে যেকোন ধরনের অপরাধ নির্মূল করা খুব সহজ। আমি আশা করি আপনারা এটি মাথায় রেখে কাজ করবেন।” কেক কাটা ও সৌহার্দ্য বিনিময়ের মধ্যে দিয়ে পুলিশ সপ্তাহ বরন করে নেওয়া হয়।
